My love for robotics started all the way back in elementary when I first stumbled upon my schools robotics team. I competed in First Lego League for 3 years and honed my programming and design basics. In 7th grade, I transitioned from FLL into FTC where I took up the mantle of programming and designing the robot in CAD. In my free time I like to freestyle slalom roller skate, play soccer, and play video games.
Maanav Pinapala
Software Lead/Media
My passion for robotics led me to do First Tech Challenge at the young age of 13. My passion for robotics began as a toddler when I would use my dad’s computer to play games. I had always wondered how I was able to play these games, how people are able to communicate with computers, and how I could potentially create a game. These questions led me here today where I am learning to code in Java and many other programming languages.
